The Ulmus are the smallest stands offered by Audio Philar. Those are designed to work with small bookshelf speakers, which need a solid and stable base to show their full potential. For the Ulmus we use granite plinths, their high weight lowers the center of gravity of the stands, what results in high stability. The legs of the Ulmus stand are made from MDF. The customer can choose natural veneer or varnish finish. Due to a specific construction, each leg has a ballast chamber inside, that runs through its full length. We recommend to fill it completely, as this increases the weight and improves the tuning of the product. Another asset of the Ulmus stand are the beautiful, chrome plated spikes, which prevent transmission of vibration, and their construction allows to level the product precisely.
